Project Island Supervisor - Offshore

2 positions - Day shift & Night shift

Act as the primary client interface offshore, coordinate, supervise and develop offshore crew, plan and delegate daily operations activities, manage and participate in morning calls & daily reports, ensure completion of daily check sheets, monitor equipment condition, supervise and implement the Training & Competency plan, develop and maintain a positive HSEQ culture, maintain sound general housekeeping standards on the



Operations:

  • Oversee day to day operations offshore
  • Ensure that maximum uptime on all operating equipment is achieved (safely).
  • Improve and increase operating efficiency and throughput/uptime of cuttings treatment handling and associated equipment and
  • Manage and participate in morning calls & daily
  • Plan and delegate daily operations and work
  • Ensure completion of daily check
  • Manage the operation of process equipment, including the safety aspects of such
  • Ensure that routine checks on all plant and equipment are carried
  • Ensure that plant is maintained in good working order through the relevant Company and site operating
  • Ensure good operating practices are adopted by all employees through effective communication and operator Ensure compliance with written Ensure that all environmental, safety and quality procedures are

Client and Commercial Relationship:

  • Ensure that Client relations are optimized through efficient service delivery, maximized service offering and regular client
  • Generate a clear message to clients about the full scope of service offerings
  • Understand and proactively manage the commercial and contractual aspects of the project to maximize business and revenue
  • Establish client awareness of additional service offerings, generate upsell opportunities and feedback to onshore


Management of Personnel

  • Clearly and regularly communicate with subordinate staff, both formally and informally, to ensure expectations are understood, taking account of the diverse ethnic, cultural and linguistic background of the operations
  • Provide a site induction for staff new to the
  • Facilitate on the job training for new staff and continuity training for all other Ensure that appropriate records are maintained and shared with onshore
  • Conduct timely and quality appraisals and field assessments as per required
  • Align with relevant stakeholders to support and supervise Training & Competency
  • Set performance targets for all processes and personnel for which you are
  • Liaise with HR & direct line manager for Disciplinary and Grievance




Requirements

Qualification(s) & Training (E Essential / P Preferred):

  • Diploma/ Bachelor s degree in engineering/ business administration/ industrial discipline or equivalent technical qualification or secondary qualification & equivalent technical experience of at least 5 years in similar role and related field (E)
  • Bachelor s/ Master s degree in Mechanical or Electrical/ Engineering (P)
  • Certified IMS (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015 & API Spec Q2) Internal Auditor with minimum of 2 years Auditing (P)
  • Basic Offshore Survival Induction & Emergency Training (BOSIET) (E)
  • Relevant technical certification in related discipline (P)

Experience(s) (E Essential / P Preferred):

  • Minimum 5-6 years total working experience in similar role, with 5+ years managing team / in supervisory role) in relevant sector (energy / oil & gas) and with an aggregate of 4 year offshore/ island-based work experience (E).
  • Worked at least minimum of 3-4 years experience working within oilfield drilling waste industry as related service or process provider (P)
  • Proven experience in managing staff and allocating work appropriately (E)
  • Demonstrate excellent HSE understanding and working knowledge (P)
