Manager - Performance Marketing

An industry leading multi-disciplinary team is looking for a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer for their Pittsburgh office!

Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced heating/cooling load calculations with Trace or HAP
  
• Develop sections/elevations of complex ductwork/piping areas
  
• Edit specifications based on project requirements
  
• Develop air/water flows using fan and pump curves to properly select equipment
  
• Work with vendors to determine specification requirements
  
• Meet with contractors during bid phase to review design details
  
• Attend meetings related to project
  
• Modify sequences of operations for AHU s, CHQ, and HW systems
  
• Manage design process to follow available hours in the work plan
  
• Perform project construction administrative duties including RFI responses and accurate review of submittals
  
• Prepare design deliverable for SD, DD, CD level documents
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
  
• 5+ years of Mechanical Design experience in Consulting Engineering
  
• EI or PE License preferred
  
• Experience designing Healthcare, Sports, Commercial, Public Sector, Industrial, Education and/or Institutional projects
  
• Knowledge of local/national building codes and design practices
  
• Knowledge of standard construction practices
  
• - Extensive knowledge of mechanical design and load calculation software (Revit, IES VE, HAP, TRACE)Bottom of Form
