Job Overview

Our State of Michigan client is seeking a smart Office Assistant to be a part of the Administrative department in a Ypsilanti located detention facility. You should be primarily able to handle all administrative duties professionally and in a timely manner. Besides, you should also be able to maintain and update the filing system. Moreover, you should be able to prepare letters and memoranda.

Day shift. $19 per hour, 40 hours per week, Assignment duration is 832 hours with potential extensions.

Responsibilities

Position is responsible for communicating with vendors and agencies in the community to secure post release services for inmates in the MAT program (Medically Assisted Treatment).

Position is inside the prison health care clinic with prisoner contact.

Preferred skills: Microsoft office, organization, work independently, decision making. Highest pay rate preferred to retain candidate.
