- Plans, directs and supervises the provision of medical treatment provided by the KAC clinic facilities, as well as industrial safety functions. Includes preventative medical care, general medical, nursing and related medical services. Ensures the continuous availability of drugs, pharmaceutical items and equipment and compliance with local legal regulations as defined by the Ministry of Public Health (M.P.H.). Prepares or approves all official medical reports and recommends and implements medical programs, studies and standards manuals
- Supervises the activities of assigned personnel in Medical Centre and. Self-Health Insurance and, Aviation’s Medical Performs supervisory duties and exercises financial authority at the level established by Management for the position
- Supervises, coordinates and controls the medical and related activities at the KAC Clinic. Ensures adequate manning, medical care and supply of drugs. Includes monitoring activities of examination, laboratory analysis, diagnosis, outpatient medical and emergency treatment, nursing care, drug dispensing and approval of all medical documentation and reports related to the medical services rendered at these facilities. Acts as a duty physician as required and renders second opinions as necessary.
- Develops, negotiates and supervises contracted medical services from the Ministry of Public Health, including physician, pharmacy and nursing care for general staff medical treatment. Sets standards and requirements with Ministry of Health Public Officials and recommends contract acceptance accordingly. Monitors and directs contracted health care staff and annual reports on performance of staff and contract adherence.
