Agura Consultancy is urgently hiring a Fire Safety CFD Modelling Specialist with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the field.
Responsibilities:
As a Fire Safety CFD Modelling Specialist you will serve as an expert in utilizing Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulation tools with a focus on fire safety. Your primary duties include offering technical support to customers and validating smoke control systems in diverse fire safety environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize CFD Simulation Tools:
Conduct indepth analyses specializing in fire dynamic simulator evacuation modeling and performancebased design to achieve equivalency.
Technical Support: Provide expert technical support to customers by responding to inquiries and recommending appropriate simulation usage.
Smoke Control Systems: Validate smoke control design/management systems in diverse fire safety environments such as malls atriums warehouses tunnels enclosed metro stations and enclosed car parks.
CFD Assessment in Fire Safety Environments: Review and perform CFD assessments in fire safety environments including metro stations tunnels and other relevant areas.
Thermal Comfort and Acoustic Modeling: Conduct analyses related to thermal comfort and acoustic modeling in various building scenarios emphasizing fire safety considerations.
Qualifications: B.Tech/MS in Industrial Engineering (Mechanical/Civil Aerospace/Aeronautical Chemical Environmental).
Experience: - Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in solving CFD applications with at least 3 years using Ansys FDS Pathfinder tools in the context of fire safety.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong background in fluid mechanics heat transfer fundamentals and expertise in CFD analysis and general numerical methods.
- Very good understanding of heat transfer turbulence and knowledge of multiphase flows combustion/reactive flows and/or FSI specifically in the context of fire safety is considered an advantage.
- Demonstrated skills in technical report writing and presenting in fluent English.
