What does a Group FP&A Data & Systems Manager at Collinson do?

Reporting to the Group Head of FP&A, the FP&A Data & Systems Manager, the role is responsible for the setup, administration, and effective operation of all the financial systems utilised by the FP&A Working in collaboration with the finance, IT and systems development teams, the focus will be primarily to deliver high calibre system reports, support analysis of data, help maintain live systems and ensure business needs are You will work in conjunction with the BI Developer to developing and maintain data-driven reports and

Your duties will include and are not limited to the following activities and tasks:

• Develop and maintain data-driven reports and dashboards using the relevant platform
• Extract, transform, and load data from various sources using SQL and ETL tools
• Analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business requirement and reporting needs and design solutions that meet these
• Create and present reports and dashboards to stakeholders to communicate insights and inform decision-making
• Systems administration support on the Group consolidation system including report writing, COA/Finance Dimension optimisation and major changes (with external support) where needed through organisational
• Design, implementation and maintenance of a new group-wide financial planning
• Maintain an understanding of data capture processes, data sources and management information requirements to continuously develop and improve quality of output
• Work with reporting SMEs in order to understand planning and reporting structures for statutory as well as management accounts
• Maintain an understanding of data organisation and system architect structures across the business in order to develop planning capability including non-financial metrics

How will you make a difference as a Group FP&A Data & Systems Manager at Collinson?

• You will enjoy working with finance systems, have above average Excel skills and ideally be familiar with MSD365, Infor BI, SAP, or similar global reporting and planning systems
• You will bring a commercial approach and question and challenge the status quo to ensure all avenues are considered
• Previous experience of designing implementing and maintaining a planning system (MS Dynamics or Tagetik experience is an advantage)
• Highly motivated, self-starter with a positive attitude and a passion delivering improvements resulting in clear business value
• Ability to combine strong analytical skills with business knowledge
• Ability to drive tactical reporting whilst working with the wider BI team to evolve long-term strategy
• Solid understanding of BI technology stack with Tableau, Alteryx and Microsoft SQL Server
• Numerate, analytical and a strong data analysis skillset and the ability to produce complex reports
• Knowledge of Data Cleansing, Data Management and Data Processing best practices
• Solid SQL experience
• Solid experience with experience with Tableau Server and Desktop
• Technical writing and documentation skills
