POSITION SUMMARY

Support the Industrial Services (IS) team in ensuring the safe reliable and efficient operation of utility systems including Compressed Air Process Water Chilled Water Steam and Gas. The role involves assisting with utility operations preventive maintenance activities performance monitoring and energy and water optimization initiatives to support uninterrupted production and sustainable factory operations.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

• Review and update SHE maps PPE Matrix and safety-related documentation and visual controls.
• Assess and support the implementation and sustainability of 5S practices within the Industrial Services area.
• Establish visual standards checklists and follow-up mechanisms to maintain workplace organization and compliance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support safety compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records related to safety controls PPE requirements visual management and 5S activities.
• Support the operation and maintenance of utility systems including Compressed Air Process Water Chilled Water Steam and Gas ensuring supply within required parameters.
• Assist in preventive maintenance activities for utility equipment to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Support the implementation of energy and water reduction projects within the factory.
• Provide support to the department in various day-to-day operational activities projects and continuous improvement initiatives as required.

What will make you successful

• Bachelors Degree student or recent graduate in a relevant Engineering discipline.
• Strong interest in Industrial Services Utilities Maintenance and Manufacturing Operations.
• Basic knowledge of industrial safety practices and risk management.
• Familiarity with 5S Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel PowerPoint and Word).
• Strong analytical organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Proactive detail-oriented and eager to learn in a manufacturing environment.
