Welcome customers by greeting them
Issue receipt refunds change or tickets
Redeem stamps and coupons
Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies
Handle merchandise returns and exchanges
Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of the shift to ensure the amount are correct and
that there is adequate change
Receive payment by cash credit cards vouchers or automatic debits
Cleaning the cash counter area.
