Branch Manager

- Ensures converting Retail plan / budget into strategic actions and achieves the product targets within agreed cost budget.

-Ensures distribution of strategic initiative in order to guarantee a smooth running of business while maintaining the timely and effective resolution of all issues within own branch.

-Ensure adherence to branch and regulator policies, recommendations and CBE regulations

Responsibilities

- Implement the marketing strategies of the bank to maximize branch profitability.

- Adhere and implement the Bank’s policies and procedures in addition to abiding to the local laws and banking regulations.

- Maintain non-earning assets and operating costs to the minimum without affecting the bank’s image and level of client service.

- Enhance income generating assets through acquisition of good potential business, bring new to bank or cross selling to existing clients at minimal delinquency levels.

- Ensure proper operational transactions within the branch.

- Monitor the vault limit and control cash shipments to branches or other banks.

- Supervise, monitor and control the activities and productivity of the sales team to achieve the sales budget and identifying the training needs of staff.

- Enhance teamwork, motivate, and manage the branch staff to ensure accomplishment of their professional goals.
