- Assists in the installation of medical equipment, software and giving live manuals demonstration.
- Assists in checking all machines & equipment’s in the hospital and store; prepares data/report about them in the computer.
- Responsible for following the medical equipment, service contracts, and PMS.
- Assists in dealing with companies and suppliers of medical equipment’s and making comparison between them to provide it to the maintenance manager.
- Assists in ensuring quality control for all medical equipment’s being used in the hospital as per international safety standard.
- Takes good care of the biomedical equipment’s by doing a daily maintenance checks, take immediate actions on maintenance requests received and works as a team with the maintenance supervisor & engineer.
- Assists in providing the Biomedical Technical Data Entry a daily maintenance report of the medical equipment’s or anything related to biomedical section.
- Responsible for any medical equipment taken out of the hospital for maintenance, and should be informed to the coordinator.
- Assists in training the staff in the hospital to use the medical equipment in the right manner and to maintain them in good condition.
- Informs the coordinator of the medical equipment once delivered to the hospital.
- Attends off duty calls as per the Hospital policy.
- Ensures safety standards (occupational and patient safety) are complied.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the Direct Reporting Authority.
