BIM TECHNICIAN

BIM Modeling:

• Assist in developing 3D BIM models using industrystandard software such as Revit.
• Collaborate with the BIM team to ensure accurate and coordinated BIM models.
• Incorporate design changes into the BIM models as directed by senior team members.
• Follow established BIM standards protocols and best practices.

Drawing Extraction:

• Support the extraction of 2D drawings and documentation from BIM models.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of extracted drawings and associated documentation.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining the BIM library ensuring uptodate BIM components and families.

Clash Detection and Coordination:

• Assist in resolving clashes by coordinating with other disciplines and making necessary adjustments to the BIM models.
• Document clash reports and communicate findings to senior team members.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Communicate progress challenges and updates to senior team members.
• Attend coordination meetings and provide input on BIMrelated matters.
• Perform visual review to capture model inconsistencies.

Professional Development:

• Seek opportunities for continuous learning and improvement in BIM modeling techniques and software.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in BIM technology and industry trends.
• Actively participate in training and development programs provided by the company.

• The Person should be aware on how to control the Line type / Line Weight / Line Thickness on sheet in a tradition proper way and not just overwrite the elements directly.
• Should be aware on the basic Area sheet how to create and update them including controlling the color schemes.
• Should be aware and understand Project Parameters / Shared Parameters / Global Parameters as its plays a Vital Role on our work.
• Should be aware on the basics on how to link other Trade file (ie: Difference on how to use internal origin and Shared Coordinates).
• Basic knowledge on Wall Sections and Section Creation.
• Good knowledge on Elevation related works which needs highlighted and which does not need based on the View Depth.
• Basic (3Years) / Good (7Years) amount of work experience on Compiling the submission
