- The incumbent will maintain accounts for the government purchase card (GPC), government travel charge card (GTCC), self-service supply center (SSSC), and temporary duty (TDY) orders.
- Reviews documents on accounts to ensure that the authorization is IAW regulations and charged to the applicable accounting code and funds are available to cover obligations.
- Facilitates timely and accurate reconciliation on prior year transactions and analyzes account activity between multiple systems during end of fiscal year review in order to identify discrepancies.
- The incumbent assists the deputy director of resource management in the preparation of the annual budget submission.
- Maintains ledgers and journals to ensure control and financial accountability in showing a complete audit trail and summary data for ledger entries.
- Formats spreadsheets and determines appropriate parameters (e.g., formulas, computations, commands, etc.). Prepares monthly spreadsheets to reconcile financial reports.
- Provides customer service to various staff sections, tenant units and rotational units on stablishing funding accounts, processing TDY requests, activating GTCCs and resolving customer funding issues.
