- Ensure that financial accounting practices are compliant with both internal and external financial policies, standards, and legal requirements
- Assist in formulating, implementing and maintaining cost/budgetary control mechanisms to ensure accurate and timely preparation of AOP.
- Provide relevant and timely, Management and Cost reporting to assist Management Decision Making.
- Review, audit and assess Internal Controls, implementing processes to reduce Compliance and Financial Risks to the business.
- Prepare, review and guide the business on Business Case Applications and Capital expenditures.
- Ensure monthly payroll is correctly processed (i.e. calculations and appropriate payroll checks) and all payroll disbursements are within deadlines.
- Liaise with SSC, Internal & External auditors as required and maintain a good working relationship.
- Responsible for Reviewing processes to improve accuracy while improving productivity. Where required through automation.
- Ensure records systems are maintained in accordance with IFRS and local regulatory authorities in Kuwait.
- Overall management of accounting activities and team to ensure deadlines are met.
