Accountant Private Equity

Responsibilites:

• Managing the daily accounting operations of our Luxembourgish holding companies
• Being the first point of contact for clients to deal with accounting and reporting matters
• Independent preparation of annual accounts according to LUXGAAP or IFRS
• Preparing consolidated annual accounts according to LUXGAAP or IFRS
• Preparing required financial statements on a regular basis
• Supporting tax consulting firms in the preparation of VAT and tax returns
• Preparing and participating in client/board and shareholders‘meetings
• Supervising and coaching of junior accountants
• Liaising closely with tax specialists, audit firms and lawyers
  

Skills:

• You hold a Bachelor or master’s degree in accounting, Finance or Economics or similar qualification
• You have at least 5 years of relevant experience in the fields of accounting, domiciliation, or audit in Luxembourg
• You have strong knowledge of national accounting principles and financial reporting practices.
• You are proficient in preparing consolidated accounts.
• You have a sound understanding of securitization vehicles.
• You have the ability to provide efficient, timely and courteous service to our clients.
• You always take a solution-oriented approach to resolving problems.
• You have excellent skills in Excel.
• You are fluent in English
