Available Positions & Their Responsibilities:
1. Machine Operator
About the Role: The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring processing and packaging equipment to ensure smooth production consistent quality and adherence to safety and hygiene standards within GMG Farm Fresh operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare machines for production (setup calibration cleaning).
Operate machinery safely and efficiently throughout the production cycle.
Monitor machine performance and adjust settings as required.
Perform routine inspections to ensure proper functionality.
Verify safety features before and during operation.
Maintain product quality using appropriate measuring tools.
Troubleshoot minor issues during production.
Record production output defects and machine activity logs.
Ensure compliance with health safety and hygiene standards.
Requirements:
12 years of experience in machine operation (preferably in frozen food industry).
High School Diploma or technical qualification (ITI Electrical/Mechanical).
Basic knowledge of MEP and food hygiene standards.
Ability to operate and adjust machines efficiently.
2. Maintenance Technician
About the Role: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining troubleshooting and repairing production equipment to ensure minimal downtime and optimal operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as per schedule.
Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment faults and breakdowns.
Assist in major repair and breakdown activities.
Inspect machinery for wear and replace faulty components.
Support implementation of preventive maintenance plans.
Ensure compliance with HACCP/GMP and safety standards.
Maintain records of maintenance activities and spare parts.
Coordinate with production teams to improve equipment performance.
Requirements:
12 years of experience in maintenance/technical roles in food processing.
High School Diploma or ITI Trade Certificate (Electrical/Mechanical).
Knowledge of preventive predictive and breakdown maintenance.
Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
Basic understanding of MEP and food safety standards.
General Requirements (Applicable to Both Roles):
Willing to work in a cold environment (frozen food facility).
Flexible to work shifts weekends and holidays.
Basic English communication skills.
Strong adherence to safety and hygiene practices.
