Summary
Level at which a Field Operations employee continues to develop skills through formal training or work experience to represent the quality of all products of HMHs Lifecycle Services origin. Provide technical assistance to clients and perform/oversee field installations and repairs.
Job Responsibilities
Works within established procedures and guidelines with limited ability to modify approach.
Completes assigned tasks with a moderate degree of supervision.
May provide informal guidance to less experienced colleagues.
Read and understand Mechanical/Hydraulic Diagrams & General Mechanical Drawings.
Follows standard technical practices and procedures to analyze complex problems in the field.
Impacts the quality of own work.
Provides solutions to a range of diverse problems in situations that are atypical or infrequently occurring based on existing precedents or procedures.
Perform all work in accordance with HMH Lifecycle Services and client safety policies.
Provide installation commissioning troubleshooting and repair services in shop or field environment on HMHs Lifecycle Services equipment.
Coordinate with the Operations/ DLS Manager and the Service Account Manager for onsite required parts materials support etc.
Advise client of any modifications or upgrades to HMHs Lifecycle Services equipment.
Supervision of subcontracted personnel.
Participate in the Workshop and the Overhaul activities and coordinate with the Workshop Supervisor in regard to workshop tasks and activities
Understands key business drivers and how it impacts the work of the team.
Exercises judgment based on previous experience practices and precedents to identify and solve unique problems in the field.
Prepare recommended mechanical spare parts list for overhaul projects at the workshop.
Prepare an accurate and detailed inspection report after damage assessment and be accountable for the all the provided inputs in the report.
Report any additional scope of work or variations from standard overhaul scope of work.
Uplo
ad all reports timesheet CSFs and expense reports to the job folder.
Advise client of modifications bulletins or upgrades to HMHs Lifecycle Services equipment.
Promote personal accountability for Health Safety Security and Environment (HSSE) by adhering to the principles and guidelines outlined in HMHs HSSE governing policy.
Document all services performed and actions carried out on service and time tickets.
Stay current on information contained in Product and Safety Bulletins.
Stay current on information with drilling procedures and ensure that all work performed is handled according to procedures and guidelines.
Support all the companys with customers and other HMH personnel in a professional manner.
Be guided by HMH Visions and Values in all activities.
Required Qualifications
Education: Electrical Engineering discipline
Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in installation Overhauling and repair of Oil Drilling Equipment and must have previous experience working on Iron Roughnecks and Automated Catwalks both in Land and Offshore Environments. Factory training drilling equipment troubleshooting and programming.
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to Travel both Domestically and Internationally. Demonstrated proficiency with technical concepts. Basic understanding of how the team integrates with others. Ability to read schematic and electrical layout drawings knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems good understanding of electrical circuits and electrical schematics Diagnose investigate and provide solutions to moderately complex problems troubleshooting and repair of Oil Drilling Equipment or similar electrically operated equipment. Ability to use communication skills to exchange moderately complex information typically within own team; uses tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers. Ability to read schematic and electrical layout drawing. Ability to work for long periods and in extreme environmental conditions. Analytical skills and fault-finding ability. Competent with Microsoft applications (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook Teams etc.) Proficient in written and reading comprehension of English. Ability to work as an individual and as part of a team. Ability to focus on and bring to conclusion multiple tasks. Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative. Ability to pre-empt situations and react positively. Organized and methodical high integrity and ethical values. Ability to negotiate and communicate at all levels to coordinate tasks effectively between different Groups/Departments. Has cultural awareness and ability to respond appropriately to all persons interacting with customers. Ability to support co-worker with technical inquiries & training. Ability to take initiative and be accountable for own decisions and actions.
