Assist in the preparation and execution of authentic Italian dishes in line with established recipes and standards
Support daily kitchen operations including mise en place service and closing procedures
Supervise kitchen team members and ensure efficient workflow during service
Maintain high standards of food quality taste and presentation
Ensure compliance with food safety hygiene and HACCP standards
Assist with inventory control ordering and minimizing food wastage
Train and guide junior kitchen staff promoting skill development and teamwork
Ensure proper use care and maintenance of kitchen equipment
Step in to lead kitchen operations in the absence of the Sous Chef
Qualifications :
Minimum 23 years of experience in a similar role within an Italian restaurant
Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine ingredients and cooking techniques
Experience working in fast-paced high-volume kitchen environments
Good leadership communication and organizational skills
Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and public holidays
