Job Overview
IIQAF Group is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Assistant Lab Technician to support laboratory operations within our hospital and healthcare facilities in Dubai. The ideal candidate will assist in medical sample collection laboratory testing specimen preparation and equipment maintenance ensuring compliance with DHA regulations and healthcare quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in collecting labeling and processing blood and other specimens
- Support laboratory testing procedures under supervision
- Prepare samples for biochemistry hematology microbiology and pathology tests
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper sterilization
- Record and update patient test data in laboratory systems (LIS/EMR)
- Follow strict infection control and safety protocols
- Ensure compliance with DHA MOH and healthcare laboratory standards
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Assistant Lab Technician or Medical Laboratory Assistant
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment specimen handling and diagnostic procedures
- Familiarity with LIS systems and hospital documentation processes
- Understanding of infection control and healthcare safety regulations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) or related field
- DHA Eligibility or License (preferred)
- Experience in UAE hospitals clinics or diagnostic centers
- Basic knowledge of quality control and laboratory accreditation standards
