permanent position Position: Site Logistics Coordinator Company Overview: Star Services LLC is a leading provider of integrated logistics and supply chain solutions. Job Summary: As the Site Logistics Coordinator you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of logistics and supply chain management at our companys site. You will work closely with various departments to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and materials while maintaining a high level of quality and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement logistics strategies and procedures to optimize site operations - Coordinate with suppliers vendors and carriers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment - Monitor inventory levels and track shipments to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery - Collaborate with other departments to forecast demand and plan for future logistics needs - Manage the logistics budget and negotiate contracts with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness - Ensure compliance with all relevant laws regulations and company policies - Oversee the maintenance and organization of the sites warehouse and storage areas - Train and supervise logistics staff to ensure efficient and safe operations - Continuously identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs - Communicate regularly with clients and other stakeholders to provide updates and address any concerns or issues Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in logistics supply chain management or a related field - Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics coordination or management - Strong knowledge of supply chain and logistics principles and best practices - Experience with inventory management and tracking systems - Excellent communication negotiation and problem-solving skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities - Strong leadership skills and ability to effectively manage a team - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software - Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to logistics and supply chain management We Offer: - Competitive salary and benefits package - Opportunities for career growth and development - Dynamic and supportive work environment - Chance to work with a diverse and talented team - Exposure to a variety of industries and clients If you are a highly motivated and organized individual with a passion for logistics and supply chain management we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
