Job DescriptionThe Database Administrator will be responsible for managing and optimizing large scale database systems with a primary focus on Greenplum and Oracle The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in database administration performance tuning backup and recovery and is flexible in learning and adopting new database technologies as required by evolving project needsKey ResponsibilitiesAdminister monitor and optimize Greenplum and Oracle database backup recovery and high availability strategiesTroubleshoot performance issues and ensure system reliability and data integrityCollaborate with development and data engineering teams on database design and optimizationStay current with emerging database technologies and adopt new tools and practices as neededRequired Skills ExperienceProven experience in administering Greenplum and Oracle databasesStrong skills in SQL performance tuning and database securityExperience with data replication partitioning and largescale data managementAbility to learn and adapt to new database technologies quicklyExcellent analytical and problem solving skills
