Design and continuously optimize the IMEA East-West Ocean Network. Designing a world-class network to deliver reliable and cost-effective solution for our customers. Bridging commercial activities with Mainliner reliability delivering a first-rate customer experience at optimal cost.

This role is for UAE Nationals with family book.

Network Design

Responsible for the (co-)designing the Ocean Network and scenario planning with a view to delivering defined schedule reliability cargo delivery targets at optimal cost

Lead analysis and initiatives such as: service closures outsourcing and/or insourcing of services to optimize network and ensure reliable products to our customers

Ensures network is commercially viable operationally executable and delivering according to agreed Service Delivery and Reliability targets

Responsible to analyse throughput and optimal connectivity in Hubs to ensure we can execute flows within operational bottlenecks (moves plugs)

Cost

Ensures Product Implementation timelines are created maintained and followed to limit Transport Plan Changes and seamless transition of network changes

Ensure Gemini Standalone products and contingency requirements are managed with optimal cost

Leadership

Lead and develop the Network Team pipeline driving overall engagement and empowering decision making at the lowest possible level

Coordinate the network changes and proposed simulations with respective markets hubs and ocean fulfillment teams for ONP coordination

Accountable for:

Optimal Network Across IMEA East West Network

Customer Delivery creating a realistic and competitive network

Critical competencies:

Experience in operations with mandatory exposure to Flow and network design (Mandatory to have)

Diligent self-disciplined accepting personal ownership for results.

Innovative and driven to provide world-class service to customers

Strong data skills and comfortable dealing with complexity.

Good time-management skills and work effectively under tight deadlines

Excellent communicator who is able to interact with and convey ideas to cross-cultural teams and multiple stakeholders

UAE National with Family Book and relevant experience.
