Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor who can set up and manage a warehouse operation from scratch in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in warehouse establishment inventory control logistics coordination and supply chain management. This is a growth-oriented opportunity for professionals based in India seeking international exposure in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Setup & Operations
Plan and execute warehouse setup from scratch including layout design racking systems storage optimization and material flow.
Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse activities.
Ensure efficient receiving storage picking packing and dispatch operations.
Maintain cleanliness safety and compliance with warehouse standards.
Inventory & Stock Management
Manage inventory control stock movement FIFO/FEFO practices and stock reconciliation.
Maintain accurate stock records and coordinate regular stock audits.
Minimize inventory losses damages and discrepancies.
Logistics & Supply Chain Management
Handle end-to-end logistics coordination (inbound & outbound).
Coordinate with suppliers transporters freight forwarders and internal teams.
Ensure timely delivery of materials to sites/customers.
Support import/export documentation in coordination with the logistics team (basic understanding required).
Team Supervision
Supervise warehouse staff helpers and drivers.
Allocate daily tasks and monitor productivity.
Train staff on safety processes and best practices.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure adherence to UAE warehouse safety norms and company policies.
Maintain records related to health safety and compliance.
Handle equipment maintenance (forklifts pallet jacks etc.).
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 58 years of experience in warehouse operations and logistics.
Proven experience in setting up a warehouse from scratch.
Strong knowledge of logistics & supply chain management.
Experience handling electrical solar or heavy material will be an advantage.
Basic knowledge of ERP/WMS systems (SAP Tally Oracle or similar).
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to manage pressure and meet deadlines.
