We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineering Supervisor to join our team in Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates. As an Engineering Supervisor you will play a role in overseeing and coordinating engineering activities ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our facilities and equipment.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment and systems
- Oversee the installation repair and inspection of facilities and equipment to ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards
- Analyze and improve engineering processes to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely completion of projects and maintenance tasks
- Conduct regular inspections of work areas plant rooms and equipment to identify and address potential hazards
- Create and maintain accurate documentation of all engineering activities including shift reports and project updates
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to protect employees and guests
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee the procurement of necessary tools and supplies
- Provide on-the-job training opportunities for team members to develop their skills and promote multitasking abilities
- Participate in emergency response procedures and ensure team readiness for various scenarios
- Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to drive continuous improvement in engineering operations
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical or related field)
- Minimum of two years experience in a similar supervisory role preferably in the hospitality industry
- Proven track record in leading engineering operations and improving operational efficiency
- Strong knowledge of engineering processes system design and maintenance best practices
- Excellent leadership and team development skills with the ability to motivate and mentor staff
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented approach
- Proficiency in engineering software and tools relevant to facility management
- Solid understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards in the UAE
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Experience in project management and strategic planning
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
