As a Logistics Specialist you will be responsible to perform the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency in Logistics and Warehouse operations. Develops an operational year plan for own Logistics activities of the team. Suggests improvements in products processes and procedures.
Always adheres to HSE/Quality regulations taking personal responsibility to report any faults to the HSE/Quality leaders and/or Manager
As a Logistics & Warehouse Specialist you will be responsible for:
Checking ready orders for processing for Outbound Shipment for both Masonelian Control Valves & Consolidated Safety Relief Valves. (Local/Export) and endorses to warehouse & shop-floor team.
Supports the In-bound shipment team as required.
In-charge of checking the progress of the shipment status from shop & warehouse and ensures the (CRD) Customer Requirement Date is met.
In-charge in obtaining and generating all related shipping documents that needs to be shared to the customers prior to shipping.
In-Charge in Coordinating with customers to initiate the collection of the shipment.
Coordinate & support Planning Team & Customer Care Team on the Orders to be processed for shipment by checking the stocks available and as per customer requirement.
In-charge in coordinating with other appointed freight agents and freight forwarders (local and international) to ensure that the shipment & documents complies as per the customer & government shipping policies and requirements.
Supports warehouse team with receiving the parts delivered by vendors and our ASSOCOs & to ensure all are updated in SAP System.
Coordinate with the Customer Care Team for any discrepancies/NCRs and initiate investigation and analysis for the NCR.
Supports Inbound and outbound shipment for Service Team and other stakeholders.
Ensures that other tasks assigned by the immediate superior has been adhered.
Works hand-in-hand with Management Team to achieve the set goals for the Division.
Perform system related transactions such as receipt and GRN generation Bin creation Item query etc
Physical inspection of received items vs packing list and shipped documents (3 way match etc)
Material Put away
Packing providing support to boxing of orders
Picking and filling orders from stock for BOMs or Shipping picklists
Ensuring packed and boxed items match packing list
Material handling in the warehouse for receiving kitting and shipping
Management of materials in stores related to customer complaints (FIRT/CCMetc)
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a bachelors degree or equivalent from accredited university or college or a high school diploma / GED with at least 10-15 years of experience in a Logistics / Warehouse capacity) and at least 3 years of experience in the Industrial Valve Business (Masonelian Control Valves & Consolidated Safety Relief Valves) Manufacturing.
At least 1 additional year of experience in utilizing planning systems
Have good experience in working on SAP
Be able to speak fluently in English on professional issues
Demonstrate effective organizational and time management skills
Be able to work independently and have good problem-solving skills
Have a valid UAE residency
