Apt Resources is thrilled to announce an opportunity for a talented Chef De Partie specializing in Bakery to join a luxurious resort located on the exquisite Red Sea. This role offers a chance to work in a stunning environment and be part of a culinary team dedicated to providing exceptional guest experiences. Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a wide variety of pastries breads and other baked goods ensuring consistency in quality and presentation.
- Collaborate with the head pastry chef to develop innovative recipes and seasonal menus.
- Manage the daily operations of the bakery section ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of excellence.
- Maintain inventory control including ordering and managing ingredients to ensure freshness and minimal waste.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bakery workstation while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Mentor and train junior bakers and kitchen staff fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Stay updated with current pastry trends and techniques to continue to elevate the resorts offerings.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Chef De Partie or similar role specializing in Bakery.
- Culinary degree or relevant qualifications in pastry and baking preferred.
- Proven experience in high-end or luxury establishments is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques ingredients and food safety practices.
- Creative mindset with a passion for developing new recipes.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
