Slice a vibrant Italian restaurant in Dubai United Arab Emirates is seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Food and Beverage Attendant to join our this role you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a smooth and efficient dining experience.
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner adhering to quality standards
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and handle cash transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and timely delivery
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and courteously
- Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials
- Assist in restocking supplies and maintaining inventory
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food and beverage service preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage offerings
- Proficiency in operating POS systems and handling cash transactions
- Basic math skills for calculating bills and handling payments
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays of food and beverages
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
