ملخص الوظيفة

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial accounts for three distinct companies under the same group. This role will require expertise in handling VAT financial audits and overall financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with a strong understanding of accounting principles tax regulations and audit practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management: Oversee and manage the accounting records for all three companies within the group. Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and compliant with local regulations.
VAT Management: Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of VAT returns in compliance with the applicable tax regulations. Keep abreast of any changes in VAT laws and regulations to ensure the company remains compliant.
Audit Preparation: Lead and coordinate the internal and external audit processes. Ensure all financial records are accurate complete and ready for audit at all times.
Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements for each company. Provide detailed reports and analysis on company performance including variance analysis and budget management.
Tax Compliance: Ensure the companies meet all tax obligations including VAT income tax and other statutory taxes. Provide recommendations for tax planning and savings opportunities.
Accounts Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of all bank accounts balance sheets and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the finance and accounting teams to ensure smooth operations across the companies. Provide guidance and support as needed to junior accountants and staff.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting procedures including automation and streamlining of financial reporting and reconciliation tasks.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field (CPA or ACCA certification is a plus).
Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance with at least 2 years in a senior accounting role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations specifically VAT.
Previous experience managing multiple companies accounts in a group structure.
Proven experience in managing audits and liaising with auditors.
Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite particularly Excel.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and problemsolving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
