We are looking for a QHSE Engineer to manage operational HSE at the factory level support sustainability initiatives and ensure ISO compliance.

Your Role in Driving QHSE Excellence:

• Operational Management of HSE at Factory Level:
  • Support overall HSE management focusing on chemical injection skids wellhead control panels and automation.
  • Ensure compliance with JAFZA HSE regulations legal requirements and ISO standards (ISO.
  • Conduct routine HSE inspections audits and risk assessments.
• Support for Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Carbon Footprint Reduction Initiatives:
  • Assist in executing action plans to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
  • Implement energysaving and waste reduction strategies.
• Project HSE Support:
  • Provide HSE support during the construction phase of new projects.
  • Coordinate with project teams to integrate HSE guidelines into operations.
• Assistance in Yearly HSE Plans and Objective Setting:
  • Collaborate in developing and implementing annual HSE plans.
  • Monitor progress on HSE tasks.
• ISO Compliance Support:
  • Assist in maintaining ISO certification.
  • Prepare documentation and participate in audits.
  • Ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Contractor and Subcontractor Compliance:
  • Ensure contractor compliance with Avanceons HSE requirements.
  • Conduct periodic safety meetings.
• Training and Competency Management:
  • Support annual Training Need Analysis (TNA).
  • Ensure training programs are completed on schedule.
• Incident Reporting and Investigation Support:
  • Assist in incident reporting and investigations.
  • Ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Policy Implementation and Continual Improvement:
  • Ensure effective implementation of HSE policies.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement.

What Were Looking For:

• BS in Environmental Engineering/Sciences Chemical Engineering/Industrial Engineering.
• IOSH Managing Safely (MS).
• NEBOSH Process Safety Management (PSM)/IOGC.
• NEBOSH IGC.
• Lead Auditor Certification in ISO 9001:2015 ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.
• 35 years of experience in a Process Industry preferably Oil & Gas Sector.
• Relevant QHSE role experience with chemical injection skids or wellhead control panels (advantageous).
• UAE Driving license.
• Strong knowledge of ISO standards.
• Experience with HSE risk assessments audits and inspections.
• Good understanding of HAZOP process.
• Solid understanding of local and international HSE regulations.
• Good command of current ESG Frameworks and sustainability practices.
• Excellent incident investigation skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
