ملخص الوظيفة
We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven Electrical Designer to join our UAE-based engineering team supporting the FEED Detailed Engineering and Detailed Design phases of offshore oil and gas projects in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in offshore electrical design with Saudi Aramco project experience and strong proficiency in S3D (Smart 3D).
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and develop electrical design deliverables such as single line diagrams cable routing layouts lighting and earthing layouts termination diagrams and installation details for offshore platforms.
- Support engineering activities across all project phases FEED Detailed Engineering and Detailed Design.
- Generate 2D and 3D models using Smart 3D (S3D) and integrate electrical layouts with other discipline models (piping structure instrumentation).
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco engineering standards international codes (IEC IEEE NEC) and project-specific requirements.
- Coordinate with electrical engineers and other design disciplines to develop accurate and clash-free design deliverables.
- Prepare material take-offs (MTO) cable schedules and support construction and procurement documentation.
- Participate in model reviews inter-discipline coordination meetings and design verification processes.
- Assist in resolving design-related queries from procurement construction and offshore teams.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Diploma or Technical Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 8-15 years of experience in electrical design for offshore oil & gas projects.
- Proven experience working on Saudi Aramco offshore projects is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Smart 3D (S3D) is required; experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation is a plus.
- Strong understanding of offshore electrical systems including lighting earthing cable tray design and hazardous area classification.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and meet tight project deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail quality and document control.
