Job summary

Fugro Middle East is looking for a qualified candidate for the position of Junior Electrical Engineer. Successful candidates will support Base Engineers in performing assigned tasks and work ensuring adherence to procedures and specifications. Aid in equipment preparation testing mobilization and basic engineering requirements with the possibility of assisting engineers during offshore field surveys under guidance.

Job responsibilities:

• Liaise daily with Survey Engineering Manager regarding ongoing operational requirements.
• Assist Base Engineers with the execution of given work and tasks.
• Assist with project mobilization preparations.
• Maintenance of all survey equipment used on and offshore.
• Conduct Vessel Visit maintenance of all Positioning Boat Programme for all equipment.
• Assist with basic engineering requirements.
• Assist engineers on offshore surveys in the field if the opportunity arises.
• Maintain Equipment Failure Service Report archive and Calibration Tracking report
• Maintain monthly Equipment Repair report.
• Maintain Equipment Test/Maintenance report.

You bring (qualifications & experience)

• Electrical Engineering graduate with 0-2 years experience.
• Emirati with Family book.
• Computer literate including networking.
• An excellent communicator ( verbally and written ) and able to form good working relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels.
• Able to work flexible hours travel and work offshore if required
• Willing to learn and self-motivated.
