Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled and creative Stand Builder Designer to design and oversee the production of custom exhibition stands and booths. You will be responsible for conceptualizing rendering and preparing technical designs that align with client branding event goals and budget constraints. The ideal candidate combines creative flair with strong technical knowledge of fabrication and installation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design innovative and functional exhibition stands that reflect client objectives and brand identity.
- Develop 2D and 3D visualizations floor plans elevations and technical drawings.
- Select appropriate materials lighting finishes and structures for each project.
- Coordinate closely with project managers clients and production teams to ensure accurate execution.
- Adjust designs based on client feedback and structural feasibility.
- Ensure all stand designs comply with venue regulations health and safety standards and installation requirements.
- Support onsite stand build supervision when needed.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with international exhibitions or large-format events.
- Knowledge of sustainable and reusable design techniques.
- Hands-on experience with stand build or fabrication is a plus.
- Ability to travel for site inspections or build supervision when required.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Interior Design Architecture Industrial Design or a related field.
- Minimum 23 years of experience in exhibition stand design or a similar role.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software: AutoCAD 3ds Max SketchUp V-Ray Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop.
- Understanding of construction methods modular systems and material usage.
- Strong aesthetic sense and spatial awareness.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage time and priorities effectively under pressure.
