We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Project Controls Analyst to join our team in Dubai United Arab this role you will be responsible for managing and analyzing the financial aspects of project contracts ensuring accurate cost control and supporting project teams with timely and precise reporting.
- Develop and maintain project cost control systems including budgeting forecasting and variance analysis
- Monitor project schedules costs and performance metrics to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions
- Analyze financial data and prepare comprehensive reports for project stakeholders
- Review and audit contractor and consultant invoices for accuracy completeness and compliance with contract terms
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure efficient project execution and financial performance
- Maintain detailed records of payments contract amendments and reimbursable expenses
- Assist in the development of project budgets and cost estimates
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project controls efficiency
- Participate in regular project status meetings and provide financial insights to support decision-making
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Accounting or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project controls cost analysis or a similar role; 5 years of experience preferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software tools
- Knowledge of project management principles and familiarity with project scheduling software (e.g. Microsoft Project Primavera)
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and techniques
- Experience with accounts payable cost control and financial reporting in a project environment
- Demonstrated ability to review and audit invoices for proper coding and contractual conformity
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience working in the construction engineering or related industries is a plus
- Willingness to adapt to a dynamic work environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
