We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Cost Control Officer to join the team at a prestigious 5-star hotel in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a significant background in hotel cost control F&B costing inventory management and financial analysis within the hospitality sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control costs across all hotel departments (F&B Rooms Utilities Procurement etc.).
- Review and verify daily cost reports purchase requests and inventory transactions.
- Prepare monthly cost variance reports and support the Finance team in budgeting and forecasting.
- Conduct regular store audits spot-checks and inventory reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with internal control procedures and hotel financial policies.
- Analyses price trends and coordinate with purchasing for cost-efficient sourcing.
- Support department heads with cost-related insights to boost profitability.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or related field.
- Minimum 24 years of experience as a Cost Controller in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of F&B costing inventory systems and procurement processes.
- Proficiency in hotel finance systems (e.g. FMC SAP Sun Systems Oracle etc.).
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced multicultural hospitality environment.
- Locally available is preferred
Salary offered:
- Basic Salary: AED 3000/- 3500/
- Service Charge
