About the Studio:
A boutique functional group exercise studio in Dubai is seeking a warm professional and highly organised Senior Receptionist to lead the front-of-house experience. The studio values innovation collaboration integrity and inclusivity and prides itself on providing a supportive and welcoming atmosphere for members and staff alike.
Role Overview:
The Senior Receptionist is the face of the studio responsible for delivering exceptional customer service managing client communications handling sales-related tasks supporting daily operations and coordinating with coaches and management.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Experience & Front Desk Operations:
- Welcome members and guests with warmth and professionalism.
- Manage phone email and social media inquiries.
- Provide accurate information about memberships classes and services.
- Process new member sign-ups waivers and onboarding.
- Check clients in for classes or appointments.
- Maintain accurate client records payments and attendance logs.
- Update client profiles in the CRM system.
- Coordinate scheduling for classes assessments and events.
Lead Management & Sales Support:
- Qualify incoming leads using preset criteria.
- Nurture track and follow up with leads daily.
- Promote memberships packages and ongoing offers.
- Upsell services such as PT assessments and merchandise.
- Manage renewals cancellations and freeze requests.
- Process payments and ensure all sales are logged accurately.
Housekeeping & Cafe Support:
- Ensure the studio is clean tidy safe and welcoming.
- Monitor stock levels and oversee restocking of supplies.
- Prepare and serve beverages/snacks when required.
- Assist coaches with class flow and member coordination.
- Troubleshoot basic tech issues (sound system software etc.).
- Participate in opening and closing procedures.
Social Media Support:
- Post and engage with comments/messages according to studio guidelines.
Requirements:
- 35 years of experience in a gym fitness studio or customer-facing environment.
- Strong computer skills (Excel CRM experience preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong numeracy and organisational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment.
- Friendly approachable and professional demeanour.
- Professional fluency in English (spoken & written).
