Job Summary:
We are searching for a meticulous technically adept and compliance-focused individual to join our company as a Contracts & Engineering Compliance Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive professional who excels at ensuring legal regulatory and contractual compliance in engineering projects. The successful applicant will collaborate closely with project delivery legal and engineering teams to ensure all activities meet internal and external compliance standards. Key Responsibilities Contract Management Engineering Compliance and Risk Control

  • Review interpret and administer contracts to ensure that all deliverables meet contract terms applicable standards and company policies.
  • Collaborate with project managers engineers suppliers and legal advisors to clarify requirements and confirm contract compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor and ensure engineering activities align with statutory regulations industry codes and best practices flagging and addressing any deviations.
  • Maintain up-to-date records and documentation of contracts compliance checks risk assessments and other critical project paperwork.
  • Facilitate regular audits site inspections and compliance reviews identifying gaps and helping teams to implement required changes.
  • Proactively identify assess and report contractual and regulatory risks early in project planning and execution stages.
  • Provide compliance training and guidance to project teams fostering a culture of risk awareness and robust governance.
  • Support continuous process improvements in contract management compliance procedures and data integrity controls.

Required Skills Contract Administration Engineering Regulations and Communication

  • Solid understanding of engineering project contracts commercial terms and risk management.
  • Working knowledge of statutory compliance frameworks and relevant engineering standards.
  • Excellent analytical and investigative skills to review documentation and identify non-conformance or potential risk.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for clear and concise reporting documentation and stakeholder liaison.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and record keeping in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong organisational and collaboration abilities managing competing priorities while maintaining compliance standards.

Qualifications & Experience Engineering Compliance Contract Administration and Industry Knowledge

  • Bachelors degree or diploma in Engineering Law Business Administration or a related technical or legal field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in contract administration compliance or risk management within an engineering technical or construction environment.
