Procurement Officer Water and Wastewater Treatment

Location: Saif Zone Sharjah

Department: Procurement / Supply Chain

Salary : range AED 5000-7000

nationality : female fillipino or indian

About the Role

Were looking for a Procurement Officer to join our team and take charge of sourcing negotiating and purchasing critical equipment materials and services for water and wastewater treatment projects. Youll play a key role in ensuring procurement activities align with project timelines budgets and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Source and evaluate suppliers for mechanical electrical civil and chemical components.

Prepare and manage RFQs RFPs and tender documents.

Negotiate prices contracts and delivery terms.

Manage purchase orders from initiation to delivery.

Maintain supplier databases (pumps valves membranes instruments etc.).

Ensure compliance with technical and regulatory standards.

Coordinate with legal finance logistics and project teams.

Oversee shipping import/export and customs documentation.

Track procurement progress and supplier performance.

Identify cost reduction and process improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Procurement Engineering Business or related field.

Certifications such as CIPS CPSM or PMP are a plus.

Experience:

35 years of experience in procurement within the water & wastewater infrastructure or industrial sectors.

Familiarity with ERP or Tally software.

Strong knowledge of treatment systems materials and technical specifications.

Skills

Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.

Strong analytical and organizational abilities.

Technical understanding of pumps valves piping and instrumentation.

Ability to collaborate with cross-functional project teams.
