The Senior Associate is responsible for the technical delivery and strategic oversight of large-scale structural building services projects. Leading a team of approximately nine professionals the Senior Associate ensures project excellence through effective planning coordination and execution while maintaining alignment with client objectives budgets and timelines.
Operating under the general supervision of an Associate Director this role plays a critical part in shaping the firms design philosophy advancing technical development and contributing to research and innovation. The Senior Associate also supports business development efforts fosters strong client relationships and drives the adoption of advanced tools and methodologies to enhance project outcomes.
The Senior Associate shall be knowledgeable in the use of REVIT with an understanding of working within a BIM environment to develop key engineering solutions. They will be able to monitor the production from the team and provide guidance. They will understand the computational tools available and their application within projects.
Lead and manage building services projects ensuring delivery within scope budget and schedule.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency quality and innovation of engineering processes.
Manage and mentor engineering teams fostering a culture of collaboration technical excellence and continuous development.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients architects and consultants ensuring alignment of project goals and expectations.
Oversee the design analysis and review of complex structural systems ensuring compliance with codes safety standards and project specifications.
Conduct design reviews audits and risk assessments to ensure the reliability safety and integrity of engineering solutions.
Responsible for engagement with the EC team and the utilisation of the project team including UAE and EC resources on projects.
Lead digital transformation through system optimisation advanced simulation strategies and multidisciplinary coordination using Revit Revizto ACC and BIM 360.
Establish digital workflows and implement automation solutions that integrate computational engineering within the BIM environment.
Incorporate sustainable design principles and ensure compliance with evolving local national and international codes and standards.
Allocate engineering resources effectively and monitor project budgets to deliver cost-efficient high-quality outcomes.
Conduct technical and commercial evaluations of building systems provide expert recommendations to clients and develop project specifications in line with the latest regulations and technologies.
Contribute to proposals technical presentations and bids supporting the acquisition of new projects and strengthening client relationships.
Foster a collaborative creative and high-performing team culture promoting positive morale and interdisciplinary teamwork.
Applies advanced technical expertise to manage complex projects ensuring design integrity budget control and milestone achievement.
Works independently prioritising tasks and developing solutions to complex issues while influencing internal and external stakeholders.
Leads teams in producing high-quality deliverables mentors junior staff and maintains strong client relationships to support project success and future opportunities.
Contributes to continuous improvement process innovation and compliance with design standards codes and best practices.
Demonstrates leadership in thought communication and execution supporting both project and organisational goals.
