Position Title: Financial Controller
Location: Dubai UAE

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee and manage the financial operations of our client based in Dubai. The ideal candidate must be Arabic-speaking possess extensive Freezone knowledge and have a strong background in taxation transfer pricing and financial compliance across the GCC region.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all aspects of financial reporting budgeting forecasting and analysis.
Ensure accurate and timely monthly quarterly and year-end financial close processes in compliance with IFRS.
Oversee tax filings VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax regulations and other GCC tax laws.
Implement and manage Transfer Pricing policies in line with OECD guidelines and local regulations.
Ensure strict compliance with Freezone authority regulations and reporting requirements.
Coordinate with auditors (internal and external) and tax advisors to ensure statutory requirements are met.
Monitor internal controls and implement risk management procedures across finance operations.
Support strategic planning through cost-benefit analysis financial modeling and investment evaluations.
Drive automation and optimization of finance workflows and ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle or similar).
Liaise with banks legal advisors and regulatory bodies as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field; CPA ACCA or CMA preferred.
1012 years of progressive experience in financial management including Freezone and GCC tax exposure.
In-depth knowledge of Transfer Pricing regulations UAE Corporate Tax and compliance standards.
Strong knowledge of IFRS financial analysis and reporting.
Proven experience managing audits and regulatory inspections.
Fluency in Arabic and English is mandatory.
Proficient in ERP systems and financial tools (SAP Oracle or similar).
High attention to detail strategic mindset and excellent communication skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Currently based in Dubai or UAE with Freezone experience.
Previous experience in a multinational or regionally active company.
Able to work independently while coordinating with cross-functional teams and external advisors.
