Perform routine maintenance checks on HVAC systems plumbing electrical systems lighting kitchen equipment and other facilities within the hotel. Troubleshoot and repair any issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure guest comfort. Assist in the installation setup and calibration of new equipment and systems as needed. This may include HVAC units boilers refrigeration systems kitchen appliances lighting fixtures and audiovisual equipment. Ensure that all technical systems and equipment meet safety standards and regulations. Conduct regular inspections and implement necessary safety measures to prevent accidents and ensure the well-being of guests and staff. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests such as power outages leaks or equipment failures to mitigate disruptions to hotel operations and guest services. Work efficiently under pressure to resolve issues in a timely manner. Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all technical systems and equipment to minimize the risk of unexpected breakdowns and prolong their lifespan. Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment performance. Provide technical support and guidance to hotel staff members including front desk staff housekeeping and maintenance teams. Offer training on equipment operation and basic troubleshooting techniques to improve efficiency and reduce reliance on external contractors. Interact with guests professionally and courteously when responding to maintenance requests in guest rooms or public areas. Address guest concerns promptly and ensure that their stay is comfortable and enjoyable
Qualifications :
Strong knowledge of electrical plumbing HVAC and mechanical systems commonly found in hotels. Ability to troubleshoot and repair various equipment and systems efficiently. Experience in performing routine maintenance tasks and inspections to ensure the proper functioning of hotel facilities including guest rooms public areas kitchens and recreational facilities. Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols governing hotel operations including fire safety electrical safety and occupational health standards. Ability to identify and address potential safety hazards proactively.
