Summary/Objective:

We need tofind a highly skilled Legal Counsel to manage the legal elements of ourcompany so the search is currently underway. You will protect our brand byensuring that the company adheres meticulously to legal norms and providingmanagement with legal counsel on all pertinent matters. In addition you willensure that the company complies with all laws.

If you are successful in yourapplication you will effectively ensure legal conformance and limit thelikelihood of exposure.

Essential Functions:

• Promptlyadvise executives on a wide range of legal issues (labor law partnershipsinternational ventures corporate finance etc.)
• Coordinatewith upper management to create effective countermeasures
• Specifyinternal governance policies and frequently monitor compliance
• Study andassess the various dangers that can affect corporate choices and daily operations.
• Use soundmethods of risk management and provide preventative counsel regarding potentiallegal issues.
• Communicateand negotiate with other parties (regulators external counsel publicauthorities etc.) developing relations of trust
• Draft andstrengthen agreements contracts and other legal papers to protect thecompanys full legal rights
• Handlecomplicated issues involving a wide variety of people and factors.
• Provideclarity on legal wording or standards to everyone in the organization sConductyour work with integrity and responsibility
• Stay abreastof any changes to the law.

Competencies:

• Critical thinker with excellent analytical and researchskills.
• Competent in analyzing and interpreting market trends andthe actions of competitors.
• You must have experience with business and corporate law.
• Projects in regulated industries must have been done before.
• It would be a plus if you had more qualifications and specializedknowledge in banking financial services capital markets competition law orreal estate.
• Strong written and spoken English and Bulgariancommunication skills are a must.
• Having the ability to speak German would be a plus.

Required Education and Experience:

• BSc degreein Law or J.D. degree
• MA or BSc inBusiness Administration will be considered an advantage; advertising ideas andnegotiating with the media.
• Proficientin Microsoft Office Photoshop and web editing packages.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This role has supervisoryresponsibilities.

Work Environment:

This joboperates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standardoffice equipment such as computers phones photocopiers filing cabinets andfax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is afull-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday (hours to be specified). However he/shemust be flexible and available to work on weekends and holidays as needed.

Travel:

Occasionaltravel is needed.
