Summary:
The Nursing Supervisor Homecare is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the delivery of high-quality nursing and patient care services within the homecare setting. This role ensures compliance with healthcare regulations supports clinical staff and promotes excellence in patient care safety and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs supervisory and/or managerial duties as delegated.
- Provides governance leadership and direction in accordance with the organizations and departments goals and objectives.
- Provides for the professional growth and development of staff through the identification of needs the development of services and the encouragement of continuing education.
- Conducts reviews of staff skills and competencies. Ensure proper clinical orientation is rendered to newly hired nurses or healthcare professionals assigned to his/her area as applicable to clinical staff.
- Promotes and supports a collaborative practice model
- Promotes an interdisciplinary team approach based on mutual respect and direct communication between health professionals.
- Participates in annual performance reviews of self and others.
- Acts as a role model and mentor to fellow staff.
- Actively participates in organizational change constructively.
- Acts as a preceptor to new staff as required.
- Lead manage and supervise the work of the staff Nurses.
- Promote the highest standards of clinical nursing care.
- Accomplishes nursing human resource objectives by selecting orienting training assigning scheduling coaching counseling and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning monitoring appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures.
- Help in assessment scoring medical condition of new patients in co-operate with doctor medical record officer and coder.
- Meets nursing operational standards by contributing information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production productivity quality and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying system improvements.
- Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by monitoring confidential information processing.
- Identifies patient service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.
Qualifications :
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
- Valid DOH/MOH/DHA Nursing License (or eligibility).
- Minimum 46 years of nursing experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role within homecare or community health.
- Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent knowledge of clinical procedures patient care standards and homecare regulations.
