Interior Design Inspector - Site Supervision

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Interior Design Inspector for Site Supervision to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of interior design projects throughout the construction process.

• Conduct regular site visits to inspect and evaluate the progress of interior design projects
• Verify that construction and installation work adheres to approved design plans specifications and quality standards
• Collaborate with contractors designers and project managers to resolve design-related issues on-site
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders
• Review and approve material samples shop drawings and submittals for compliance with design intent
• Monitor project timelines and coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion of interior design elements
• Identify potential design conflicts or construction issues and propose effective solutions
• Ensure compliance with local building codes regulations and safety standards
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates on design implementation and quality control
• Maintain accurate records of inspections approvals and project modifications

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Interior Design Architecture or a related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in interior design or a related field with a focus on site supervision and quality control
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or other design software
• Strong knowledge of interior design principles building codes and construction materials and methods
• Familiarity with MEP systems and their integration in interior spaces
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Proficiency in project management tools and quality control methods
• Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written with experience in technical report writing
• Professional certification in interior design (e.g. NCIDQ) preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
• Willingness to travel to various project sites within Dubai and the UAE
