JOB OBJECTIVE
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic AI/ML Intern to join our team. You will help design and develop an intelligent system that can read understand and analyze financial statements using modern AI techniques (OCR NLP LLMs).
The goal: automate the extraction standardization and scoring of financial data from various document formats.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with senior officials to understand project requirements and goals.
- Build and improve pipelines to extract and structure data from financial statements (PDFs images text).
- Use NLP and document AI models to interpret financial terminology and detect key insights.
- Contribute to cleaning and standardizing financial data.
- Participate in creating an automated financial scoring and reporting tool.
- Document your work and share findings with the team.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Final-year student or recent graduate in Computer Science Data Science or AI Engineering.
- Strong Python skills (pandas regex data manipulation).
- Familiarity with NLP / LLM tools (spaCy Hugging Face OpenAI API) or OCR/Parsing models (Docling Tesseract..).
- Interest in finance data and applied AI.
- Curious analytical autonomous and eager to learn in a collaborative environment.
- Solid understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms.
QUALIFICATION CERTIFICATION & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors or Masters degree in AI Computer Science or a related field.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Experience with NLPLLMs document digitalization or data extraction projects.
- Basic understanding of database management.
- Previous internship or project experience in AI/ML.
