Foreground is partnering with a leading events and communications agency to appoint a 3D Designer Team Leader.
About the Role
The 3D Designer Team Leader will lead a team of 3D designers in delivering visually stunning event exhibition and experiential space designs. This individual will drive creative excellence ensure technical feasibility and foster team development in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of 3D event spaces exhibition booths and immersive brand experiences.
- Translate conceptual ideas into detailed 3D renderings architectural drawings and technical layouts.
- Assign and oversee design tasks based on team strengths and project needs.
- Collaborate with creative account management and production teams to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain and organize design files assets and technical specifications for seamless production.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers supporting their growth and quality of work.
- Ensure all 3D assets meet technical specifications production requirements and industry standards.
- Optimize 3D models for efficient rendering and presentation.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in 3D visualization AR/VR and digital design technologies.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions client presentations and design reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Interior Design Architecture 3D Design or related field.
- 6 years of experience in 3D event/exhibition design with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating 3D event designs exhibition setups and brand activations.
- Advanced proficiency in 3D Max SketchUp Cinema 4D AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite.
- In-depth knowledge of architectural design materials and fabrication processes.
- Experience creating immersive experiences using AR/VR is a plus.
- Excellent team leadership communication and presentation skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to balance creativity with technical feasibility.
