Description

Location: Al Barsha 2Grove Mall Dubai UAE

Responsibilities:

Operate maintain and troubleshoot laboratory analyzers and equipment in accordance with established protocols.
Perform a variety of tests including hematological biochemical serological and other specialized analyses ensuring accurate and timely results.
Verify test outcomes by reviewing patient history and prior test results to ensure consistency and reliability.
Conduct routine quality control checks on all test systems ensuring accuracy and validity of results.
Participate in proficiency testing programs and support the laboratory accreditation process.
Assist the laboratory manager with additional tasks as needed.
Conduct phlebotomy procedures when necessary.
Stay updated on the latest laboratory practices by attending educational workshops reviewing relevant publications building professional networks and participating in industry societies.
Foster effective collaboration and communication within and between departments to maintain a seamless workflow.
Ensure a safe clean and compliant laboratory environment by following established safety protocols including infection control and hazardous waste management.
Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to privacy policies protecting both patient and clinic data integrity.

Understands follows and supports all hospital infection control programs

Requirements

Bachelors or Associate degree in medical technology clinical laboratory science chemistry biology or a related field.
Active DHA license to practice as a Clinical Medical Lab Technologist
Proficiency in English both written and spoken.
Highly skilled in the precise manipulation of laboratory equipment and test materials.
Ability to exercise independent judgment and work with minimal supervision.
Capable of staying calm under pressure with strong problemsolving skills especially when working with highexpectation patients.
Excellent communication skills both oral and written with the ability to present information systematically and ensure followup as required.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Preferred: Experience working in CAP ISO or JCI accredited laboratories.
