Overview:

Mitel is seeking a strategic and results-driven Distribution Account Manager (DAM) to lead and manage relationships with key distributors across the Middle East & Africa (MEA) and Asia-Pacific (APAC) regions. The DAM will serve as the primary interface between Mitel and its authorized distributors driving alignment on business goals pipeline generation logistics coordination and partner enablement. This role is pivotal in scaling Mitels channel ecosystem improving inventory velocity and driving profitable growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Distribution Management

  • Own the end-to-end distribution relationship for MEA and APAC.

  • Align global distribution strategy with regional execution plans.

  • Onboard and manage authorized distributors ensuring compliance with Mitels channel policies.

  • Optimize inventory levels supply chain flow and order forecasting in coordination with supply chain and operations.

  • Revenue & Pipeline Ownership

  • Drive quarterly revenue targets and ensure consistent pipeline generation across the distributor network.

  • Support territory planning and ensure distributor alignment with Mitels on-prem portfolio.

  • Enablement & Demand Generation

  • Execute distributor enablement programs including sales and technical training certifications and accreditations.

  • Develop and support joint marketing plans and co-funded demand-generation activities (JMF).

  • Track ROI on distributor-led marketing campaigns.

  • Sales Support & Deal Structuring

  • Assist distributors with deal structuring pricing requests special bids and channel escalations.

  • Manage the deal registration process and drive compliance with Mitels pricing policies.

  • Governance & Reporting

  • Conduct QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews) with each distributor.

  • Provide regular reporting on sell-in / sell-out data market trends pricing dynamics and distributor health.

  • Work closely with finance operations legal and product teams for contract management compliance and credit issues.

Requirements:

  • 710 years of experience managing large IT/UC distributors in MEA and/or APAC.

  • Deep understanding of distribution logistics channel margins rebates and fulfillment models and Export Control Compliance

  • Proven experience in multi-country channel ecosystems with different maturity levels.

Additional Skills (Advantageous):

  • Experience in Unified Communications telephony or networking technologies.

  • Familiarity with Mitels competitors

  • Strong financial analysis and P&L management skills.

  • Understanding of market dynamics partner economics and compliance procedures.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic or Asian languages a plus).

  • Strong negotiation stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to influence without authority across cultures and time zones.
