Black & Grey HR is recruiting a Business Development Manager for a leading company in the luxury marble and stone industry based in Dubai. We are seeking a highly motivated professional with a deep understanding of the stone sector covering everything from quarry sourcing to final installation who can drive business expansion secure new projects and strengthen long-term relationships with both clients and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and secure new project opportunities across the UAE and international markets.
- Build and maintain relationships with architects consultants contractors and developers.
- Develop strong supplier partnerships locally and internationally including quarries factories and distributors.
- Accompany clients for slab inspections selection and approvals at factories.
- Conduct site visits for awarded projects to ensure specifications and quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with estimation technical and production teams to prepare proposals and align supply with project timelines.
- Monitor industry trends and stay updated on quarrying cutting polishing logistics and installation practices.
- Represent the company at trade shows exhibitions and networking events.
- Explore new revenue streams and niche markets beyond traditional construction channels.
- Maintain updated client and supplier databases and follow up on leads quotations and project approvals.
- Submit business development reports and pipeline updates to management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development within the marble or stone industry.
- Strong understanding of the complete stone supply chain and installation process.
- Excellent communication networking and negotiation skills.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to develop and implement growth strategies.
- Previous experience in the UAE or GCC preferred; international exposure is an advantage.
