What you will be doing:

  • Provide friendly efficient and professional front office service including warm welcomes check-ins and check-outs.
  • Anticipate guest needs handle cash transactions and maintain Pullman service standards.
  • Monitor room status manage guest complaints and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate guest profiles and follow VIP protocols.
  • Adhere to local government requirements and Pullman guidelines for guest management.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready and meet Pullmans high standards.
  • Assist guests with luggage handling and provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
  • Process reservations modifications and cancellations efficiently using the hotels booking system.
  • Manage incoming calls and emails providing prompt and courteous responses to inquiries.
  • Collaborate with other departments to arrange special requests or services for guests.
  • Maintain a clean and organised reception area ensuring all necessary materials are readily available.
  • Assist in emergency situations and implement safety procedures when required.
  • Upsell room upgrades and additional services to maximise hotel revenue.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on Pullmans policies and hospitality trends.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of guest services by providing feedback and suggestions.

Qualifications :

Your experience and skills include:      

  • Thriving in fast-paced environments and love creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Previous experience in hospitality is a strong advantage.
  • Tech-savvy with Opera or similar systems
  • Guest-oriented approachable and genuinely service-minded
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a great asset
  • Sales-driven mindset
  • A diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in other languages is highly valued
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 kg when necessary
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a calm demeanour under pressure
  • Impeccable personal grooming and adherence to Pullmans appearance standards
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and public holidays
