Job Title: Fabrication Leadman

Location: Dubai

Experience: 3 Years

Salary: Depends Upon Experience

Main Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead a team of fabricators in the of fabrication tasks ensuring that all work is completed according to specifications quality standards and safety guidelines.
Oversee the preparation and fabrication of materials ensuring proper cutting shaping and assembly of components.
Ensure that all fabrication work is performed in compliance with project drawings blueprints and technical specifications.
Inspect fabricated components for accuracy and quality ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g. ASME API).
Train and guide junior fabricators to ensure they understand the fabrication processes and safety protocols.
Monitor workflow and productivity of the fabrication team making adjustments as necessary to meet project deadlines.
Maintain fabrication tools and equipment ensuring they are in good working condition.
Coordinate with project managers engineers and other departments to ensure fabrication tasks are completed on time and within budget.
Troubleshoot fabrication issues and provide technical solutions to resolve any challenges.
Maintain records of completed fabrication work materials used and any deviations from the original plans.

Essential Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent; certification in fabrication welding or a related technical field is preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in fabrication with at least 12 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques including cutting welding and assembly.
Experience with fabrication materials such as steel aluminum and other metals.
Experience in industries such as oil & gas construction or manufacturing is preferred.

Skills Required:

Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team of fabricators.
Expertise in reading and interpreting blueprints drawings and technical specifications.
Knowledge of fabrication codes and standards (e.g. ASME API).
Proficiency in fabrication tools and equipment such as cutting machines welders and grinders.
Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication skills for liaising with team members engineers and other departments.
Ability to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards throughout the fabrication process.
Strong organizational skills to manage schedules materials and workflow.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
