We are looking for a qualified Cost Estimation Engineer with solid experience in the oil and gas or petrochemical sector. The candidate will be responsible for preparing cost estimates across all project stages including CAPEX and OPEX evaluations and supporting the economic analysis of engineering projects. Familiarity with ADNOC or other major regional operators estimation methodologies is an advantage.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interpret contract terms project specifications and design deliverables to develop accurate cost estimates.
- Prepare estimates for all project phases including Concept Feasibility FEED and EPC stages.
- Perform CAPEX and OPEX estimation as well as economic modeling and analysis.
- Apply industry best practices and adhere to established cost estimation procedures and methodologies.
- Support cost engineering activities using total cost management principles.
- Ensure compliance with client expectations including those of ADNOC and its subsidiaries.
- Coordinate with engineering procurement and planning teams for comprehensive estimate development.
- Utilize Primavera or equivalent software for cost and schedule integration when required.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors Degree or higher in an Engineering discipline from a recognized institution.
- 5 to 10 years of proven experience in the oil & gas or petrochemical industry in cost estimation roles.
- Hands-on experience with different levels of cost estimation (Concept FEED EPC).
- Strong understanding of CAPEX/OPEX estimation and project economic modeling.
- Familiarity with cost estimation practices of major regional operators particularly ADNOC.
- Certification in Cost Engineering (AACE or equivalent) is desirable.
- Proficiency in Primavera or other relevant project cost management tools.
